# Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our data team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting our data scientists and analysts in their work.

## Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines
- Develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources
- Implement data models and storage solutions
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their data needs
- Optimize data systems for performance and scalability
- Document data architectures and processes

## Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools
- Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Understanding of data modeling and database design principles
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

## Preferred

- Experience with data streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of machine learning pipelines
- Experience with data governance and security
